Hydro dipping activator by HYDRA Water Transfer Printing for polyvinyl alcohol films, in a 400 ml aerosol spray can.
The activator is the key to success in hydro dipping and in every dip. Our formula is specially designed to respect colours and offer good flexibility, keeping discolouration, film stretching and distortion to a minimum and, to a lesser extent, bubbles and other defects, thanks to the surface tension its components give it.
Coverage: 8 m² per can.
Spray application, in a single step. The can comes already set for pressure, flow and fan:
- Hold the can horizontally.
- Application distance: 20-25 cm.
- One pass every 10-15 cm.
- Wait until the film is completely liquid, then dip the part.
Recommended temperature: 25 ºC.
Recommended hydration time (from placing the film on the water to applying the activator): 90 seconds.
Apply just the amount needed to liquefy the film, no more and no less. Before dipping the part, check that the film has liquefied properly.
