Hydro dipping activator

With our hydrographic activator, the film turns into liquid ink that bonds to your parts. It comes in several sizes: 400 ml spray, 1 litre bottle and 5 litre can.

The HYDRA WATER TRANSFER PRINTING activator keeps application mistakes to a minimum.

HOW TO USE:

• Apply one pass from about 20-25 cm
• Recommended temperature: 25 °C
• Recommended hydration time (from laying the film to applying the activator): 90 seconds
• Coverage: up to 20 square metres per litre (8 m² per spray can).
• Apply just enough to liquefy the film, no more and no less. Check that the film has liquefied properly before dipping the part.

Primers, base paints and clear coats

If you are working on a plastic, wood or metal part, we recommend a primer before the base colour that suits your chosen film. Our universal primer bonds perfectly to all these surfaces.

Then choose your base colour. In each film's description we suggest colours that work well with the design.

Finally, a clear coat protects the design, matt or gloss as you prefer. It keeps your hydro dipping work looking perfect for much longer and protects it from scratches and scuffs.
