Hydro dipping activator by HYDRA Water Transfer Printing for polyvinyl alcohol films, in a 500 ml bottle, for spray gun application.
The activator is the key to success in hydro dipping and in every dip. Our formula is specially designed to respect colours and offer good flexibility, keeping discolouration, film stretching and distortion to a minimum and, to a lesser extent, bubbles and other defects, thanks to the surface tension its components give it.
Coverage: 12.5 m² (25 m² per litre).
Spray gun application, in a single step:
- Pressure of 0.6-0.7 bar.
- Fan fully open and flow at maximum.
- 1.2 or 1.3 nozzle.
- Application distance: 25-30 cm.
- One pass roughly every 15 cm.
- Wait until the film is completely liquid, then dip the part.
Recommended temperature: 25 ºC.
Recommended hydration time (from placing the film on the water to applying the activator): 90 seconds.
Apply just the amount needed to liquefy the film, no more and no less. Before dipping the part, check that the film has liquefied properly.
Applying it with a mister, trigger sprayer or hand sprayer is not recommended, as this is a high-performance activator.
